Twenty-five riders who earned points from the Markel Insurance 1.45m Jumper Series qualifiers competed to take home the lion’s share of the $39,150 prize in the series final. Of the five horse and rider combinations that rode fault free over Anthony DiAmbrosio’s course, the last to go took the win. Though the stands were nearly empty and social distancing was in full effect, that did not stop a series of skilled partnerships from laying down their best efforts in attempts to grab a win, with Cassio Rivetti (BRA) and Neil Jones Equestrian Inc.’s Kaiser Van Het Lambroeck ultimately laying claim to the victory in the feature class of the week Saturday afternoon, the $25,000 Alliant Private Client National Grand Prix.
